You can listen to the actual quote here: It’s so much nicer hearing John say it. It starts at 10 seconds and ends at 32. I listen to it and I always just hear the happiness in John’s voice and I just wonder “How did it go wrong? What went wrong?” It sounded so perfect when he said it. And when John says the part, I want him to know he’s wanted it makes me cry because you know that’s what John wanted all his life, but he let the cycle repeat in a nasty way. It makes me so sad, it sounds so perfect in this quote, if only it happened like that. I always wonder how someone can say something and then be a different person completely in years to come…. It’s so weird sometimes to me how much he changed…. we all change though, right? It’s life.
